Good things… all good things

So a few cool things:

  1. Stripe testing is over with as of last night, and I am now officially cleared to get my purple belt next month. What does that mean, kids? It means I can start with Kung Fu. I’ve been itching to get at those nunchuks šŸ˜€
  2. Feeling moderately healthy after some trying weeks. This means I’ve gotten back to working out pretty often both at home and in class. I just feel off when I don’t do some sort of workout. So, if it means Yoga, Pilates, weight training, or good ole Turbo Jam/Turbo Fire, it’s getting done again. I’m thankful for this because physical activity keeps me centered and moderately sane. Moderately.
  3. The semester is almost over. Two weeks to go with perhaps a quiz, a project program, and then the final exam. I’ve got a few semesters left, but the finish line is finally in sight. A few more classes, a master’s project, final comprehensive exams, and I’ll be done.
  4. Winter break! I’ll finally be able to tackle some home projects I’ve been putting off because of school and not having a lot of free time. Plus, the students will be out for a while and therefore the network will be pretty quiet.

Techies like a quiet network. It gives us a chance to work on projects that can’t get a lot of attention when fires need to be put out right, left, and center. Plus, I may give Skyrim a chance during the break as well. It’s been a while since a game really caught my attention, and this one is evidently getting all the little gamers squeaky with emotion.

So, dear reader, I hope you are doing well and thanks for visiting this little blog šŸ™‚
