Mad Men – behind the scenes (The Other Woman)

If you haven’t seen last night’s episode yet, don’t watch. If you have, then proceed πŸ™‚

A few observations:

  • I thought Roger was supposed to be taking care of Joan and the baby financially? It sucks that she had to consent to the date. But, in all fairness, she did get a partnership out of it. Plus, the guy looked like he had to pay for it anyway, so everyone got what they wanted.
  • Joan’s look at Don as she walks into the room said it all… “Don’t judge me, I got what I wanted”.
  • In viewing the above behind the scenes video, Elisabeth Moss (Peggy) describes how she didn’t expect Jon Hamm (Don) to hold onto her hand for so long. Her tears were true. Even before I knew that I was getting teary eyed too. Yes, I did, I’m not ashamed of the tears! πŸ˜›
  • Megan didn’t go into too much detail about what happened at the audition, but by the looks of things, the guys conducting it wanted her to do things she wasn’t comfortable doing. In other words, she wasn’t there for her acting chops, as much as she wants to believe she’s a great actress.

All in all, it was a great episode.
