Promotional still from The Other F Word – Jim Lindberg and his daughters

I shouldn’t say ALL of Pennywise grows up. The Other F word focuses on Jim Lindberg (lead vocals) mainly and his quest to be there more for his kids.  What makes this documentary interesting is that it looks at a selection of musicians from the SoCal punk scene of the 80s/90s who rocked it hard back in the day and still do, and try to balance that aspect of their lives with being a father and growing up. There’s interviews also with Flea (RHCP) and his daughter Chloe, Lars Frederickson (Rancid), Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion) and other notable SoCal punks.  Tony Hawk makes an appearance as well. Why not, right?

Shifting gears slightly, another recommendation I have is the documentary Klitschko. It looks at the lives of the Klitschko brothers (Wladimir and Vitali) and their quest to break into the American boxing elite. These guys are hardcore, man. If you like boxing and sports docs, this is for you.
