Movie Review: Gravity (3D)

Directed by: Alfonso Cuarón

Written by: Alfonso Cuarón and Jonás Cuarón

Starring: Sandra Bullock, George Clooney

I’m generally not a fan of 3D, as I think it tends to get overplayed. However, I can’t recommend enough watching this one in 3D, if possible (and if you can handle it).

Sandra Bullock stars as Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on her first mission, and George Clooney is Matt Kowalski, an astronaut on his last mission. The worst happens, and they need to figure out a way to survive.

Bullock really carries this film – she’s a novice having to figure out how to deal with the situation as it becomes catastrophic. Do you give up or face your fears all the way through? I think that pretty much summed up the movie for me. The visuals were so epic also; seeing the Earth in all its glory from space actually put a tear in my eye.

Go see this movie; it is so worthy.
